Alyson earned her Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney in 2014 and brings over a decade of clinical experience across a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and community health centres throughout Sydney. She played a pivotal role in developing and implementing government-funded initiatives aimed at early identification and intervention for children at risk of communication disorders. These projects focused on increasing access to care through screening and collaboration with day care centres. In her work with schools, Alyson has trained teachers and implemented oral language programs to support children's communication development. At Sydney Children's Hospital, she pioneered an innovative early intervention parent training program. Alongside her clinical expertise, Alyson has served as a clinical educator at The University of Sydney and has volunteered her services in rural Australia and Vanuatu. During her spare time, Alyson loves surfing, singing and playing the guitar and playing with her quirky orange cat, Toby!
